Software Design and Development on Unisys/HP UX and Unisys programming and other languages including ALGOL, COBOL, Shell scripting, WFL, CICS, JCL, VSAM.
Position also requires: DMSII, Oracle, DBII databases, Unisys system and HP UX utilities; experience with software tools Mercury Quality Center, COMS, UtilSoft, TADS, ClearCase, ESM, CANDE. Experience with banking/financial system a plus.
Experience with Windows XP/Clearpath MCP, database design, security and testing desirable. Design, develop, modify, test, install and support software/specialized utility programs/systems.
Develop software system testing procedures, perform coding and unit testing, execute functional test scripts, coordinate integration testing. Analyze detail systems factors: input/output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, alternative approaches, etc. Review design documents/functional requirements and provide software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time, cost and operational constraints. Contribute in the preparation of system specifications and test documentation. May provide user support as required.
